These tours are designed to reconnect Newarkers to their river by providing an opportunity to get on the Passaic River and see the City from a different vantage point. The tour focuses on the history, development, ecology, and environmental justice concerns of the Passaic River. We offer two types of boat tours, one that goes down river and explores the edge of Port Newark and then back upstream retracing the history, industry, and abuses that took place along Newark’s Passaic River and our Port Tours go into the Port of Newark exploring the largest port on the East Coast and 2nd largest in the United States. Tours run for 2 hours.

$5 for Newark residents and $15 for non-residents
