Cherry Blossoms in Winter, a public art project in Essex County Branch Brook Park, will bring spring to Newark while it’s still winter. To commemorate Newark’s 350th anniversary students, artists, teachers, and residents are invited to create installations in the bare trees of winter conjuring up the glories of our blossoming cherry trees of April. Join us at this event- a springboard to new community partnerships, deeper ongoing ones, and bridges across arts and education from K-16. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
